Essential role of EBV in MS

Australian Researcher, Professor Michael Pender proposes how EBV plays a significant role in the development of MS. There is increasing evidence that infection with the Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) plays a role in the development of MS.

Based at the University of Queensland and made possible by MS Research Australia, Prof Pender has recently published in the journal, The Neuroscientist, his four–step hypothesis as to the role of EBV in MS.
