In light of the recent natural disasters in Queensland, the Queensland Reconstruction Authority has launched the 'Join Forces' program.
The ‘Join Forces’ website connects flood and cyclone-affected sporting clubs, community groups and other not-for-profits with corporate and private sponsors who can help them with the huge task of rebuilding and getting their club or group up and running again.
If you are involved with, or know of, a local community group or club that has been affected by the floods or cyclones please encourage them to sign up to the program.
You may be involved in these community groups, either through personal participation on the weekend or direct involvement in running your local club or organisation.
