Mayor Paul Pisasale is a truly inspiring man for all that he has achieved and continues to achieve for his city of Ipswich and for Queensland. Many people do not know that Paul Pisasale also lives with MS and has done so for many years.  Paul loves to help people and would like to assist people living with MS; particularly the newly diagnosed.

About Mayor Paul Pisasale
Paul was elected Mayor of Ipswich in 2004 and again in 2008 with an 82% majority, demonstrating the support and respect with which he is held.  Paul is a compassionate man who is always ready to help not just the wider community but also individuals in need. In 2010 Mayor Pisasale’s dedication was recognised by receiving an Australian of the Year Award - QLD Australia’s Local Hero Award.

Earlier this year, Paul led the city of Ipswich through some of the most difficult times with the floods that greatly impacted Ipswich and surrounding areas. Despite all this, Paul is determined that through working together, Ipswich will only change for the better.
