There is a great deal of scientific and media interest in stem cells as a possible treatment for multiple sclerosis (MS). Some scientific reports do reveal encouraging clinical findings, however a lot of work still needs to be done to prove their effectiveness and safety for people with MS.
MS Society UK has produced a booklet for and with people affected by MS. It aims to explain the key issues around stem cells and MS.
